Summary: The Senior Solutions Architect Manager, Sales liaises with internal resources to identify optimal proposed solutions and bid responses based on technical infrastructure, best practices, and process optimization opportunities to facilitate seamless work processes and partners with sales and production resources to prepare, review, edit, and present solution recommendations and bid proposals. This role is responsible for solutions and proposal teams and works closely with department leaders to increase client win probability, align appropriate resources to ensure success, and expand United Language Group solution strategy and visibility as an enterprise leader in the translation and localization industry. Essential Duties + Responsibilities Manage solutions and proposal teams and collaborate with other sales support teams to ensure task alignment to greater sales objectives and goals. Create, analyze and manage department metrics and BIs associated with team performance, as well as proposals and solutions metrics. Manage processes and systems related to proposals and solutions. Manage content library and documentation related to proposals and solutions. Support sales in initial assessments and decisions relating to bid opportunities. Review requests, prepare queries and write proposals during the solution development phase of new opportunities. Deliver technical support during the bid response process to understand and communicate ULG capabilities. Support cross-functional sales team in identifying best practices during sales engagement. Understand and document client localization processes during initial sales discovery. Compile, organize, and document the proposed client solution. Partner with sales to present final client solutions during the sales engagement process. Participate in internal and external meetings necessary to advance the sales process toward the close. Document repeatable solutions and processes for future reuse across the selling team. Provide and manage technical support for the global sales team via on-site and remote client meetings. Engage internal and external technical resources to align technical solutions. Represent ULG as a subject matter expert in localization process optimization and best practices. Understand and align the ULG technology stack to optimize the localization process. Proactively suggest opportunities for internal process optimization. Research existing technology solutions and follow the latest trends and developments in the localization industry. Analyze the potential benefits of emerging technologies to everyday business and assess usability within ULG. Identify and propose strategic improvements to tools, processes, and workflows to optimize day-to-day delivery. Identify, analyze, and engage potential technology partners to optimize ULG solutions. Attend trade shows, speak at conferences, and maintain a visible presence through social platforms to maintain visibility around ULG as a technical thought leader. Other duties as may be reasonably requested. Education, Experience + Skills Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience preferred. 5+ years of direct localization/translation experience preferred. Solid understanding of localization solutions, technologies, and processes (CAT, TMS, MT solutions, etc.). Technical proficiency in content-related solutions and systems (CMS, DMS, ERP, HRMS, etc.). Experience in digital marketing and technical publications process optimization. Top-notch verbal, written, and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task to drive projects toward completion in parallel. Experience managing a team.
