This includes campaign building and management, advertising analytics and visualizations, and insightful recommendations. 　　A qualified candidate will possess strong technical skills with experience working on medium to large customer facing UI platforms and distributed services. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and be eager to dig in and get the job done. You will regularly communicate with senior management and other stakeholders on status, risks and regularly acquire executive sponsorship for cross team initiatives. You will manage and enable the developers contributing to your program to succeed at executing on project delivery. You will work on some of Amazon’s hardest problems, building high quality, architecturally sound systems. This is a highly visible program across multiple organizations where you will have the opportunity to have a huge impact.

　　Key job responsibilities

　　1) Lead a team of engineers working on Campaign Creation UI and presentation APIs

　　2) Partner with Product Leads and the broader Amazon Advertising Organization to build features for our global customer base

　　3) Drive architectural and software quality improvements across your team and the broader Campaign Creation organization

　　4) Hire and develop engineers through coaching and mentoring

　　Basic Qualifications

　　3+ years of engineering team management experience

　　7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience

　　3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

　　8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience

　　Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations

　　Experience partnering with product or program management teams

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy

　　Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers

　　Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $148,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $287,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
