Ethicon is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst - US Commercial to support the U.S. Commercial Wound Closure & Healing business. The role reports to the Senior Finance Manager for Ethion U.S. Commercial and will be located in Raritan, NJ.

The SFA for US Commercial Finance will provide financial leadership to support business decisions for the Wound Closure & Healing platform with $1B in topline revenue. The SFA will lead the creation of profitability analytics along with the forecasting, Pricing & Gross Profit analysis, investment prioritization, and product lifecycle management. The SFA will collaborate and communicate with various business partners such as the Human and Animal Health Marketing teams, Commercial Excellence team, Global Strategic Insights, Demand Planning, and Finance colleagues. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Providing accurate, timely, insightful and meaningful financial analysis to stakeholders helping to proactively identify risks & opportunities
Lead fiscal year and long-term planning, latest thinking forecasts, and close cycles for the Wound Closure & Healing platform in close partnership with the business. Responsible for reporting and analytical support of actual vs. forecast. Influence and shape financials with cross-functional partners by translating brand strategies into forecasts.
Support revenue attainment by capturing the key business drivers of categories and build assumptions to highlight opportunity areas while mitigating potential risks. Providing financial insights and business analysis to meet the financial targets and drive business decisions.
Partner closely with Commercial Finance, Marketing, Strategic Customer Group Finance, Demand Planning and more to understand strategies, the market & customer insights, competitive landscape; synthesize and provide financial updates across multiple levels of the organization.
Support the platform with product launches, competitive entrants, brand investments and other marketing events.
Support ad hoc requests / projects, support continuous improvement activities, participate in trainings to increase knowledge & skill, ensure compliance to policies and procedures are followed
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. CMA, CPA, and MBA is preferable.
A minimum of 3 years of related finance experience is required.
Candidate must possess strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, and problem-solving skills, required.
Candidate must demonstrate strong financial analysis competencies and have a proven ability to think analytically and lead collaboratively in a dynamic environment with finance and non-finance partners, required.
Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint etc.) is required
Ability to investigate issues, determine root cause and drive awareness and resolution is required.
This role is located in Raritan, NJ. This role may require up to 10% domestic travel.
The base pay range for this position is $76,000-$121,900
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
