Kforce has a client in Buffalo, NY that is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager.Responsibilities:
Collaborating with teams across the company to plan and drive IT Infrastructure objectives
In this role, the Senior Technical Program Manager will be gathering requirements, scope, helping prioritization, resources, budget and planning for all phases of the Program life cycle; Specific skills include Datacenter build programs and Network infrastructure
Develop and manage milestones and schedules for the many moving parts that need to come together
Scheduling daily meetings with tasks and tracking the deliverables to completion
Coordinating with the Construction/facilities/vendors/Datacenter operations teams on the infrastructure build tasks/activities
The Senior Technical Program Manager will document and communicate status, issues, and risks in a timely manner to project team and senior management
Serve as the first point of escalation for the business and the Program stakeholders
BA/BS in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related area
5 years of demonstrated experience in leading projects in an enterprise environment; global experience desired
5 years hands-on experience managing infrastructure initiatives -Datacenter setup/migration, WAN implementation, Disaster recovery setup, Client & Server deployments including large-scale OS upgrades, infrastructure, operations, networking, telecom, and/or security
Hands-on experience with managing large scale IT Infrastructure projects; ability to multitask programs
Ability to match a fast pace & culture
Experience coordinating complex infrastructure builds a big plus
Demonstrated ability to identify business process issues and drive process improvement
Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem solve
Excellent attention to detail skills and ability to multitask
Technical knowledge and experience using:
Office 365
Bug and Issue tracking tools like JIRA, Confluence
Managing Private and Public cloud infrastructure
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
