Our Siemens business unit Motion Control (DI MC) is one of the world's leading providers of products, systems, solutions, and services in the field of Motion Control. This includes around 10,000 employees and two business segments. With its global production sites, RD, and service locations, MC is close to its customers and at home in a wide range of industries.

At our factory network Siemens AG develops and manufactures electric motors for the global market. Our target customers are in the field of automation technology, in the automotive industry and in the field of intra-logistics. To further drive our successful growth, we will expand our locations in a targeted manner over the next few years. The topics of digitalization and simulations support us in planning for the future and in implementation.

Based in Oradea , we are looking for a “Senior Specialist Export/Import Outbound/Distribution” that helps us optimize and manage our distribution, import and export processes, in close collaboration and as a temporary support for our MC factory in Bad Neustadt / Germany.

What part will you play?

· Supervision of the operative shipping processing in all steps:

o Sales Order Processing: Shipping Settings

o Creating shipping instructions and supporting the specialist departments in shipping issues

o Create A.TR and COO (certificate of origin)

o Management control of shipping processes and service providers:

§ Timely processing of shipping orders

§ Service provider controlling, monitoring and billing.

§ Freight cost statements

§ Usage of correct incoterms

· Contact person for internal as well as external questions and challenges related to shipping processes.

· Responsibility in cross-functional projects and sub-projects to optimize processes in the area of import, export and distribution.

· Settlement of damage in transit: from assessment of the facts up to settlement with insurance companies.

· Training of operational staff who works in the shopfloor distribution area.

What you need to make real what matters.

· Bachelor or Master`s degree preferably in business administration, industrial engineering or logistics.

· Minimum of 3-5 additional years of experience in domestic freight, customer service, customs and transportation logistics.

· Experience in dealing with freight forwarders and logistics service providers. Additional experience in other logistic areas such as order management and operative purchasing is beneficial.

· You possess the relevant certificates/trainings in aviation security, customs and COO.

· You have experience in definition of packaging requirements, handling of damage claims and dangerous goods handling.

· You possess a holistic understanding of the End-to-End (E2E) Supply chain and its interdependencies.

· You have proven experience in projects and in process improvement, such as the methodology of LEAN manufacturing processes. Also, you ideally have first experience in digitization and automation projects.

· Good proficiency of English (spoken written) is an absolute must since you work in an international environment. Proficiency of German is a big benefit.

· Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP (SDMM module). Experience in S4 Global Trade Services (GTS) is beneficial.

· Ideally, you have first experience in introducing AI-driven or RPA-optimized planning tools.
