　　Mailchimp is a leading marketing platform for small businesses. We empower millions of customers around the world to build their brands and grow their companies with a suite of marketing automation, multichannel campaigns, CRM, and analytics tools.

　　We are hiring a Sr ML Software Engineer to work with a high performing group of software engineers. This team owns the design and development of MLOps platform capabilities to enable Machine Learning at scale.

　　In this position we seek someone excited to work with a dynamic, diverse group of engineers and managers who are able to prioritize and deliver on business critical solutions. We provide a platform for machine learning capabilities for Mailchimp Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers. We seek someone comfortable with defining requirements for a highly available, scalable, and maintainable MLOps platform.

　　What you'll bring

　　You have a passion for writing clean and simple code, and follow good development and testing practices

　　Enjoy designing and building a highly available, scalable, and maintainable ML platform

　　You’ve got extensive experience with IaC on Multi-cloud infrastructure experience would be a plus, Especially AWS.

　　You’ve got experience with BigQuery, Kubeflow, Vertex AI, and

　　Working knowledge of event-based systems such as pub/sub, DataFlow, and Kafka

　　Experience working with cross functional teams

　　Desire to work in a highly-collaborative environment, and actively contribute to code reviews, software design specs, team-level office hours, etc.

　　Our primary work will center around Python, Kubeflow, and Terraform. We also dabble in Java and Go, however we’re more interested in your ability to learn and collaborate with our teams while remaining relentless on meeting the needs of our customers.

　　How you will lead

　　Help develop ML Observability and Model Monitoring solutions for our ML Platform

　　Own the development of our ML Platform capabilities as to improve the maturity of Machine Learning at Mailchimp

　　Participate in and cultivate a culture of direct, compassionate Engage in a results-oriented work style, and encourage transparent communication while facilitating effective collaboration and teamwork

　　Work with the engineering department leadership to iterate on the strategic Data Engineering and ML Platform Roadmap

　　Help identify and remove obstacles to project execution
