Description
Amazon is seeking a self-motivated, creative public relations professional to join our PR team and lead executive communications for the Devices & Services business. The candidate will have significant experience working with senior leaders in the technology industry, including driving strategy and delivering executive communications across channels (media, speaking engagements, social, internal). They will have the ability to set strategy while also executing flawlessly on the tactics, exceptional communications skills, and a talent for collaboration and influencing without authority.
Key job responsibilities
The leader in this role needs to be able to quickly earn trust with our most senior executives to deliver impactful communications strategies. They must be a bar-raising executive writer, have a track record of driving compelling thought leadership programs, have strong earned and social media experience, and have the ability to navigate ambiguous and sensitive situations with many stakeholders. Key job responsibilities include:
-Lead executive communications strategy for Devices & Services organization
-Write external and internal communications (speeches, talking points, employee messages, owned content, etc.) on behalf of s-team leader
-Execute media and analyst engagement
-Drive executive social media program
-Share learnings and best practices across team

Basic Qualifications
10+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $224,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
