[The Senior Network Engineer works with minimal supervision and is accountable for the day-to-day operations of our networking and phone systems as well as working on new projects to further improve our operations and business. Responsibilities include monitoring, support and enhancement of existing systems. With expert technical knowledge, the Sr Network Engineer will implement use and improvement of automation tools and processes, exceeding regulatory and compliance requirements. The Sr Network Engineer will embrace best practices and frameworks, evaluate new solutions, implement new projects, applications and processes while demonstrating Campbell values.

Designs, implements, maintains, monitors, documents, and supports various network and telecommunication subsystems within the firm. Some of which includes the Ethernet backbone, routers, firewalls, IPS, phone systems, telecommunications provisioning, security, etc.Actively plans for and protects our firm from potential security issues.Repairs and upgrades hardware and software or makes recommendations when to use outside services.Proactively identifies and corrects problems. Determines the root cause of incidents.Conducts product evaluations and makes recommendations for hardware and software solutions.Acts as subject matter expert across network and telecommunication subsystems within the firm.[Process and Project Management - 30%]{calibri",sans-serif"=""}
Continuously improves on company-wide efficiencies, reducing incidents by looking for trends, streamlining processes, providing effective monitoring, and mitigating risks.Takes ownership of projects in planning, recommending, implementing, and integrating with other systems, upgrades, or enhancements.[Vendor Management - 10%]{calibri",sans-serif"=""}
Maintain a relationship with the vendors to ensure that we are getting maximum utility out of our investment in the products and ensures that problems are addressed.[End User Support - 10%]{calibri",sans-serif"=""}
Provide personal and professional service with end user support requests.[Training and Documentation - 5%]{calibri",sans-serif"=""}
Participates in webinars, seminars, and training classes to update skills.
Reads and networks to stay ahead of the curve and learn what and how to apply the right solutions to our business problems.
Trains users and IT Infrastructure staff. Training can be one-on-one or in a class-like setting.
