Role Summary
The candidate will provide Senior Military Analyst support to Concept Development and Prototype Experimentation for Mission Command Battle Lab (MCBL).
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for interfacing with and briefing Government personnel (Military and Civilian) of all ranks.
Develop, implement, oversee, and improve as necessary those processes and procedures required to address and satisfy the Government's contractually defined objectives while ensure high quality products and services.
Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, updating project plans, approving expenditures, and making decisions about department related purchases.
Coordinate and/or attend cross-functional meetings of personnel related to project.
Report status, develop project-related documentation and implement lessons learned.
Participate in project performance review meetings and discussions (when required).
Responsible for developing and accessing documentation in the form of reports, proposals, white papers, and briefings.
Qualifications and Skills:
Master’s Degree from an accredited university
Graduate of a military service school equivalent to the Army Command and General Staff College (Military Education Level-4)
Fifteen or more years’ military experience at the division or higher echelon.
Experience with the full scope of work i.e. studies, experimentation, and prototyping
Demonstrated experience as a task leader in support of Army or joint capability development processes and requirements is desired
Other Qualifications
Possess clear and precise oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Submit to required background checks.
Able to meet requirements to work on a military installation, including having a valid state driver's license and car insurance.
Be self-motivated with ability to establish priorities and effectively manage time to complete multiple tasks within specified timeframes.
Be completely functional in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Be able to travel as required.
Ability to hold a Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Army War College Graduate
Previous service within Joint and/or Combined organizations
Experience as a Division/Corps/Theater army/Joint headquarters planner, or strategist,
Demonstrated experience covering the full scope of work: studies, experimentation, and prototyping.
Demonstrated experience in support of Army or Joint requirements.
