We have an excellent REMOTE career opportunity as a Senior Manager, Pharmacometrics to lead our Toxicokinetic team.
Position Summary
As the Senior Manager the incumbent is responsible for the scientific development of a team of Pharmacokinetic Modelers within the Metabolism department. The individual will also support modeling projects for a range of studies in the delivery of a program of work and as a scientific expert will be able to work with clients and internal contacts to guide proposal and study development to achieve project goals. This will include direct client facing interactions either locally or in conjunction with SME travel.
Essential responsibilities include:
Scientific leadership and development of pharmacokinetic modelers responsible for reporting of pharmacometric data sets.
Works with the managerial people leader in areas that include recruitment activities and performance evaluations.
Conducts regular 1-2-1 meetings with the modelers to provide coaching and mentorship for their personal and scientific growth.
Ensures that studies are performed to the required scientific, regulatory and client standards, in accordance with the study protocol and Labcorp standard operating procedures.
Understands Study Director (SD), Principle Investigator (PI), and Contributing Scientist (CS) responsibilities and the organization of multi-site studies. Consults with SD/PI/CS colleagues to determine project requirements and plan accordingly, reviews protocol changes and communicates to client and management as necessary.
Directs a wide range of complex studies and coordinates internal and external programs of work.
Acts as an expert scientific reviewer in evaluating and interpreting complex data for study reports and reviewing technical validity of study results.
Candidates given best consideration will have the following experience/skills:
PK/PD, PBPK and other forms of pharmacokinetic modeling
Management of pharmacometrics personnel
Managing a global team
Leading remote leaders and teams
Training personnel in field of PK modeling
Customer facing experience, managing through conflict, establishing/managing client relationships.

Pay Range: $125,000 - $150,000 annual salary (USD); bonus eligible.
