  Walmart Connect is key to Walmart's growth strategy. Walmart has built a $3 billion dollar closed loop, in-house advertising business that is a robust, true omnichannel, media services division with WMC. We partner closely with brands on strategies and solutions that harness Walmart's unparalleled omnichannel influence. We deliver relevant retail ads and experiences that connect our customers with the brands and products they love. And we use Walmart's proprietary online and in-store data, encompassing 95% of American households, to measure campaign-correlated sales on our site and in our stores.

We are seeking a Senior Manager - Advanced Analytics Methodology & Measurement Partnerships to shape the future of our organization through data-driven insights and collaboration.

  Location: Hoboken, NJ - San Bruno, CA - Los Angeles, CA

  What you'll be doing:

  Design, develop, deploy and manage a comprehensive third-party enterprise-wide measurement program that aligns with business needs and future direction.

  Spearhead assessments of new and existing advanced analytics methodologies, especially across a wide range of third-party measurement solutions.

  Possess direct experience and stay at the forefront of latest trends in machine learning, statistical test design, media mix modeling, artificial intelligence, and other data science fields.

  Able to deeply analyze cutting-edge machine learning (ML), artificial intelligence (AI), and other data science techniques.

  Evaluate applicability, scalability, accuracy of third-party measurement solutions across a diverse set of business uses cases.

  Provide detailed point-of-views and recommend that champion adoption or rejection of third-party methodologies to mitigate risks.

  Partner with senior leaders across the organization and third-party partners to assess methodology and identify key business needs and opportunities. Communicate complex insights clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels.

  Ensure all methodology adherences to data quality and governance standards.

  Foster and manage strategic partnerships:

  Identify and cultivate relationships with external measurement partners. Collaborate on joint analysis and results to deliver a unified fair solution to clients.

  Assist in negotiating and managing contracts and service level agreements to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.

  Provide continuous training, coaching and updates on the Partnership Program and third-party measurement. Lead and mentor internal teams on the pros / cons, benefits and risks of third-party measurement solutions.

  Actively participate and create opportunities for joint promotional efforts and data science community events that feature the Partnership Program through publications, presentations, and leadership.

  Qualifications:

  Direct experience and ability to manage, design, and own the build and enhancement of multiple media mix models to connect the impact of marketing tactics and business short-term and long-term outcomes.

  Direct experience and ability to manage, design, and own the running of optimization and simulation scenarios to help provide the marketing investment and allocation recommendations to stakeholders.

  Possess a master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field required.

  Proven track record of successfully leading and executing complex analytical projects. Have 8+ years of experience in advanced analytics with a focus on machine learning and/or AI.

  Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

  Demonstrated experience in building and managing external partnerships.

  Passion for the field of data science and a desire to make a real impact through data-driven insights.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  PhD degree in Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, or related field.

  Experienced in building market mix and multi-touch attribution models.

  Experience with advertising, measurement, and/or digital marketing analytics

  Experience with advertising technology platforms Ad servers, DSPs, DMPs, etc.

  Advanced programming skills with experience of creating Python modules.

  Experience with A/B and Multivariate test design and implementation.

The salary wage range for this position in this location is $132000 to $264000.

  The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00-$264,000.00

  Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

  Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
