Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Cybersecurity Specialist(s) supports products or services and providing consulting services in one or more of the following areas: application software, technical information management, or systems integration.
The Senior Cybersecurity Specialist(s) will carry out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures; and create work resulting in the development and implementation of complete solutions to Government projects.
The Senior Cybersecurity Specialist(s) may also be assigned the role of a project manager, with responsibility to manage the integration and/or development and delivery of a discrete deliverable directly to the Government.
The Senior Cybersecurity Specialist shall use considerable discretion, independent judgment, and sizeable degree of self-direction and decision-making. The Senior Cybersecurity Specialist(s) shall be recognized as a technical leader in Digital Records Management.
The Senior Cybersecurity Specialist(s) shall provide technical guidance to support personnel and lower-level engineers and software professionals, and act in a liaison capacity with other partners.
Education and Years of Experience:
Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in engineering, scientific, technical, or business management disciplines from an accredited college or university.
Have at least ten (10) years of experience in the field of specialized expertise which included performance of the following functions with respect to Army
Records Management or similar DoD programs / projects.

At a minimum, directly interface with the application development team to ensure cybersecurity principles are applied to meet all DoD Instructions, directive, and manuals, to include but not limited to Army regulations AR25-1 & 25-2 requirements throughout the system development cycle.
Have the ability to perform assessments of cybersecurity requirement compliance using manual and automated software analysis tools and methods.
Be knowledgeable of IT systems, in GOTS products. The main Records Management application is a GOTS application. Additionally, regarding Digital Records
Management, the Senior Cybersecurity Specialist(s) shall be familiar with current OMB and NARA policies and initiatives that require Government agencies to transfer to electronic records management.
