Job Description

　　An employer is seeking a Sr. Comm/Nav Engineer to sit in the Dayton, OH area. This person will be joining a team of Engineers on base to oversee and review all systems within the KC-46 Aircrafts. This team specializes in the mechanical, electrical and aerospace structure (preforming 107 requests) and are responsible for ensuring that any modification, replacement or enhancement is following Airworthiness protocol and securely aligning with each internal system. The ability to work with others in this collaborative environment is imperative and having a vast understanding of DoD AF Depot Repairs & best practices is crucial. The focus of this role will be within the cockpit - Communication, Navigation, radar, sonar, etc.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　ABET accredited degree (BS Minimum) - Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical or Electrical Engineering Degrees specifically

　　15 years of functional work exp (Flex depending on level of degree/exp)

　　5 years of DoD working exp (Depot Repairs)

　　Ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance - Prior exp working with KC-46 aircrafts OR C-141/C-17 (any large-scale cargo plane)

　　EDR/CDR knowledge null
