GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Email Marketing Specialist will collaborate with peers within Marketing, Design and IT. Will be responsible for hands-on Salesforce platform campaign planning and execution with a focus on journeys, automations and engagement (including audience segmentation, defining test plans, and executing email campaigns).

Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilizes Salesforce Marketing Cloud for campaigns including acquisition, customer journeys, relationship growth
Reviews business requirements to optimize business processes, source data, data flows and business rules, and assists with the implementation
Communicates regularly with IT and stakeholders to ensure functionality meets Enterprise business needs through a managed backlog and release plan
Identify areas to optimize email execution
Translating business objectives to email campaigns
Enables technical collaboration across systems and departments; assists in developing and analyzing functional solutions for integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other applications
Maintains updated system documentation and policies/procedures
Works well in an Agile team structure, providing key inputs to the success of the work
Hands-on platform technical Salesforce skills and has the ability to mentor others
Stays up to date with industry trends and emerging Salesforce technologies, recommending innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement
Identify and drive enhancements to email templates, including, but not limited to creative tests that maximize defined campaign KPIs and overall growth of the email channel.
Support reporting efforts to measure performance of email marketing campaigns and drive optimizations to improve campaign performance.
Ensure assigned deliverables meet expectations, are supporting the marketing strategy and brand, and are executed on time and within budget.
Keep abreast of competitive environment and developments/trends in the digital landscape.
Understands all aspects of Salesforce Marketing Cloud integrations configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to the Salesforce release upgrades
Deliver and deploy emails and campaigns
Proactive in using data to identify, design and execute a pipeline of tests to improve email campaign performance

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
Undergraduate degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
4-5 years of job-related work experience; digital or direct marketing experience strongly preferred
Hands-on experience managing marketing campaign execution; 2-3 years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience strongly preferred
Demonstrate experience in translating business objectives to email campaigns that deliver towards goals
Knowledge of SQL Query/Automation Studio and Interaction Studio a plus
Ability to multi-task and manage many deadlines
Results-driven with focus on campaign measurement and analysis.
Ability to independently prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment across multiple internal clients.
Ability to build collaborative, professional relationships with all levels of personnel both inside and outside the company.
Financial service industry experience a plus, but not required.
