　　Responsibilities

　　In keeping with the French Hospital Medical Center health care philosophy the Registered Nurse manages quality patient care through the nursing process. Coordinates plan of care with the health care team. Assumes leadership role for unit personnel to prepare and assist them with their responsibilities. Employees are responsible for completion of unit competency assessments annual safety review CPR and renewal of license by maintaining continuing education units as required by hospital policy. Employees must successfully pass clinical math exam prior to orientation to unit. In addition to these major responsibilities the Registered Nurse may be assigned other duties.

　　Qualifications

　　Minimum Qualifications

　　Graduate of an accredited RN Program

　　Licensed by State of California RN

　　Basic Arrhythmia Class

　　AHA BLS

　　Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Med/Surg or Recovery Room

　　Two years GI experience

　　ACLS Preferred

　　Upon completion of orientation, prefer candidate with 2-3 days a week availability.

　　Must be available for full time orientation (First week: M-F 8am-4:30pm) in order to ensure proper training an competency attainment

　　$71.20 - $71.20 /hour
