Clark Retirement is seeking compassionate, dedicated Care Partners to join our Assisted Living teams within Clark, a Life Plan Retirement Community. As a care partner on our team, you will be assisting our residents with activities of daily living in a fun, supportive environment. We offer paid on the job training and med pass certification!
$18.25 starting pay with an increase to $20.25 after completing our med pass class. Opportunities for continued education to earn up to $24/hour!
Key Skills & Qualities
Knowledge of dementia preferredAt least 1 year of experience passing medications in an assisted living settingDesired traits: caring, responsible, respectful, empathetic, detail orientedAbility to work well with a teamFamiliar with Person Centered LivingEssential Job Functions:
Distributes medication and provides treatments, personal care and assists with activities of daily living for elderly residentsOrders medications. Stores, distributes and documents all prescription and over the counter medication given to residents per protocols and as ordered by the physicianCommunicates appropriate information to family membersProvides treatments, changes dressings, checks blood sugars, oxygen and vitals and other medical interventions according to physicians ordersMaintain all necessary documentation and charting in a timely and accurate mannerAssume the role of Care Partner (resident aide) as neededTakes direction from Supervisor, asks for help when needed, supports team membersReports changes in conditions or behaviors to nurses in a timely mannerReady to join our team?
