DescriptionThe West Virginia Prevention Research Center (PRC) in the School of Public Health at West Virginia University Research Corporation is currently accepting applications for a (Remote) Data Manager.About the OpportunityThis position will provide high-level support several of the West Virginia Prevention Research Center's (PRC) evaluation team for Project AWARE in partnership with the WV Department of Education, Marshall University, and the WV Bureau for Behavioral Health, the three Local Education Agencies, and local partners to implement a comprehensive evaluation plan that periodically reviews performance and outcome measures, assesses progress, and provides recommendations for any needed modifications or improvement. The SEA will provide state-level data regarding partnerships, policy, workforce development, infrastructure, and sustainability. The LEAs will collect site-level data regarding objective-driven process and outcome measures that include implementation fidelity and evidence-based practices to assess ongoing progress as required by the grant (quarterly or annually). Schools will provide site-level data including school climate and student outcomes. The Evaluator will coordinate with partners to implement the evaluation plan that includes overseeing data management, analyzing performance and outcome measures, providing quarterly and annual progress reports, identifying barriers and successes to project implementation, and participating in a collaborative process of identifying and recommending areas of improvement using data-driven decision-making.This position will provide evaluation expertise to the team by conducting literature reviews, monitoring data collection, contributing to data collection and database management, coding and analyzing data, report writing and presentations of data to community members and state partners.At WVU Research Corporation, we strongly believe in work-life balance and keeping time for things we love outside our work.
