Reliability Technician
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Installs new equipment, repairs and modifies existing Predictive equipment.
• Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment.
• Maintains accurate communication to other maintenance departments over required repairs for reliability of equipment.
• Assists with the necessary repairs of equipment, property and the building when needed.
• Understands basic hydraulic troubleshooting.
• Performs welding (basic) on equipment (TIG, Arc, Oxy/acetylene).
• Understands basic PLC systems.
• Supports other maintenance technicians and operator’s basic functions of machinery and equipment
• Effectively uses electrical testing equipment.
• Responsible to identify opportunities for improvement and to communicate those to supervisor.
• Initiates and assists maintenance in completion of work orders by self.
• Initiates and conducts routine preventative maintenance (PM’s) on equipment by self or with minimal supervision.
• Maintain shop 5S policies and cleanliness.
• Predictive maintenance activities:
• Oil sampling and submission for external analysis
• Installation of predictive sensors and general maintenance of the collection system: configuration, inspection and general maintenance of sensors and gateways
• Thermal imaging of electrical panels and electrical installations and sending to analysis service provider
• Manual data collection of: vibration, ultrasound, infrared or others predictive technics
• Diagnosis report management
• Corrective work orders creation and monitoring of the execution
• Support to areas served with predictive analytics, suggesting strategies to execute the recommended actions, and following closely the service execution
• Closing the work orders in SAP system and sending feedback to the predictive company
• Send equipment information updates to predictive service providers

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
• Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic math skills including: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentage calculations
• Ability to read and comprehend documents and schematics
• Three years in maintenance field preferred.
• Excellent communication skills
• Have the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and abilities in order to analyze, evaluate, and solve mechanical problems
• Must be ARC Flash qualified
• Experience in the operation of maintenance power tools
• Knowledge of electric and mechanical procedures
• Flexibility to work weekends
