Job Title: Quality Control Manager
Pay Rate: $67,725 - $102,997 per year.
Hours of Work: 7:00am-3:30pm

Quality Control Manager Summary:
Write procedures and policies, perform audits, supervise personnel of the quality control department and interface with customer quality control personnel.
Required Essential Quality Control Manager Skills/Experience:
• Some experience in industrial Quality Control.
• Ability to interpret fabrication drawings.
• Excellent reading and writing skills.
• Able to create QC documents using a computer.
• Supervisory experience.
• Able to move freely about fabrication facilities.
Quality Control Manager Desired Skills:
• Experience with or qualification to ASNT-SNT-TC-1A Level I or II in Radiographic, Liquid Penetrant or Visual testing.
• Familiarity with military specifications and NAVSEA Technical Publications 248 (Welding Qualification), 271 (NDT Methods) and 278 (Fabrication, Welding and Inspection).
• Experience working under pressure.
Required Essential Quality Control Manager Functions/Duties:
• Perform in-house and vendor QC audits.
• Document welding procedures and associated qualifications.
• Provide customer inspectors with documentation and assistance during their audits and final inspection of items.
• Oversee the NDT department, supervise personnel, write procedures, and control and document qualifications of personnel.
• Certify NDT personnel as required.
• Be responsible for final inspection, documentation, certifications, etc. related to fabricated items.
• Answer customer inquiries.
