Description:
The QA Inspector has the following responsibilities:
Inspect parts and assemblies to verify compliance to drawings and instructions.
Perform visual weld inspections to verify compliance to acceptance criteria.
Interpret the drawings, instructions, and job documents to understand the requirements applicable to job.
Record and report any nonconformances in a clear, concise manner.
Use measuring instruments to perform inspections.
Review job records during inspections to verify compliance of the work completed to the job requirements.
Communicate in a clear and concise manner with shop personnel and managers regarding the results of inspections, nonconformances, and schedules.
