What you'll do:
The ServiceNow Public Relations team positions our company, protects our reputation, and places stories that raise awareness of ServiceNow as the GenAI first mover, digital workflow leader. The Product PR team in particular focuses on media strategy and execution for our Platform releases, Store releases, generative AI releases, and technology, creator, finance & supply chain, employee, customer experience and industry solutions.
As a PR manager for Product PR, you'll support external visibility and media relations activities for ServiceNow's Platform, Creator, Finance & Supply Chain, and Technology workflow solutions. This includes support of our annual Knowledge Conference in Las Vegas, bi-annual platform launches, quarterly product/GenAI launches, and more. You'll get to expand existing media relationships and build new ones. You'll get to work with all levels of ServiceNow spokespeople. And you'll get to be creative with story ideas and pitch angles.
The role will also require activities such as writing narratives, key messages, FAQs, and other content, helping to lead, develop, and execute communications plans, pitching media, managing and leading discussions with key business partners, and staffing interviews.
There may also be some support for speaking opportunities and events.

How you'll do it:Reporting structure: You'll report to the senior manager of product and platform PR. You'll also work closely with other leaders in the comms organization, as well as leaders in the product organization, product marketing, and more.Core responsibilities: For communications strategy, you'll help your manager bring new ideas forward to drive visibility for the ServiceNow Platform, Technology, Creator, and Finance & Supply Chain Workflows - with a specific focus/leadership role in Finance & Supply Chain Workflows and core business units within Technology Workflows, including generative AI. You'll handle a majority of plan execution, including writing, coordination, reviewing, and reporting on results. You'll support your manager in executing external communications plans that elevate leaders' points of view on digital transformation and cloud technology and position them as thought leaders in the industry.Integrated communications: You'll collaborate often with members of the Global Comms team and other business partners to ensure integration with key company events, announcements, and other relevant moments.Business knowledge: You'll get to know ServiceNow's purpose and aspiration, Platform and solutions, and go-to-market strategies worldwide.Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or related field.Minimum 8 years of related experience (Agency or client-side are fine); or advanced degree with Comms/Marketing emphasis and equivalent experience.Proficiency/domain expertise in industries like technology, B2B, SaaS, AI (GenAI a plus), security, and/or cloud required.Strong Media relations experience, including the ability to build and strengthen media relationships, necessary.Natural inclination to think outside-in and tie into macro trends important.Ability to take direction in a collaborative way, participate on cross-functional teams, and develop and lead appropriate projects.FD21
For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $111,960 - $195,840, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location. For individuals who will be working in the Bay Area, there is a pay enhancement for positions located in that geographical area; please contact your recruiter for additional information.
