Navarro Research & Engineering is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to support the Business Development office within our headquarters in Oak Ridge, TN.

The Proposal Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with the Business Development office for writing, formatting, and producing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), Sources Sought, and marketing materials to support clients such as NASA, US Army, Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration, and other federal agencies. Daily assignments include technical editing, print production, presentation development, data administration, and writing assignments under tight deadlines. On-the-job training will be provided.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Proposal Coordinator is responsible for specific aspects of business development, proposal writing, and marketing activities including the following:
Support proposal team efforts in the development of technical, management, past performance, key personnel, and price volumes for both commercial and government clients.
Support BD responsibilities for cradle to grave proposal development, including compliance analyses, proposal production, and proposal delivery.
Interview subject matter experts for technical information and write sections of the proposal
Support both Technical and Price proposal volumes, writing sections as needed for both (including technical approach, resumes, and past performance).
Analyze a wide variety of solicitation types and ensure both compliance and responsiveness to the client issues and/or needs.
Participate in the formulation and review of proposal win and capture strategies, development, and feature analyses.
Lead development of sources sought, RFIs, and capability statements.
Lead development of task order proposals for IDIQ contracts.
Prepare data calls for information needed from team members to fulfill solicitation requirements.
Participate in color team and compliance reviews.
Review written materials and graphics submitted by proposal team and offer feedback including specific ideas and strategies to enhance proposal sections.
Help maintain and improve proposal tools and processes.
Support marketing efforts including development of brochures and cut sheets, website updates, issuance of corporate newsletters, and coordination of sponsorship activities.

Requirements
4-year degree from accredited college or university with a preferred concentration in Communications, English, Business, Business Administration, Graphics & Design, or MarketingPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in the federal proposal response process is preferred, although any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required skills and capabilities is acceptable.
Experience and knowledge of Adobe Products (including Illustrator) and other graphic programs is considered highly favorable.
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite of Products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills with self-directed ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Requires superior written communication skills, including thorough knowledge of proper grammar, advanced vocabulary, spelling, editing, and proofreading skills, with an emphasis on the presentation of complex technical material in a meaningful manner to a layperson.
Capability to plan, motivate, and lead proposal teams to achieve on time proposal schedule milestones.
Ability to make decisions, solve diverse problems, exercise good judgment, and work effectively under pressure.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, to make decisions, solve problems, exercise good judgment, work under pressure, work with minimal supervision and prioritize workload.
Requires strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop, nurture, and build internal and external relationships with a wide variety of professionals to support proposal teams and promote successful, productive outcomes.
Possess ability to support business development team to deliver best-in-class proposals and win business.
