Hitachi Energy High Voltage Products business unit is responsible for the worldwide after sales support of generator circuit-breaker (GCB) systems and gas insulated switchgears (GIS), including training, installation and commissioning, scheduled maintenance, added value services, troubleshooting, extensions, retrofits, and replacements.

　　We are looking for an experienced Project Manager Troubleshooting Service who will support and further strengthen our growing team in the Service Department of High Voltage Products. You will successfully manage entire troubleshooting cases to define a proper solution for stakeholders and customers. From beginning to end of the case you confidently represent the interests of Hitachi Energy towards our customers. It is our goal to continuously improve our results and to offer excellent commercial and technical solutions.

　　For this challenging opportunity, we are looking for someone, who has a technical background with profound experience in Project Management and who is able to plan, manage and control all of the project activities with business acumen.

　　Responsibilities:

　　You will be responsible for the successful execution of our diverse troubleshooting cases starting with the customer inquiry until the successful completion of site works (leakages, flashovers, exchange actions, offering overhauls and many more)After taking over the case you will arrange the project team with members from the required disciplines and ensure that each member completes the assigned tasks and work packages according to the project plan which you createdDuring the project execution, you will define and successfully manage all project milestones and ensure the on-time delivery of our products.In case of deviations you will proactively initiate the appropriate actions to bring the project back on trackAs the first point of contact to the customer you ensure customer satisfaction with your open and proactive communicationWith your commercial experience you will successfully manage the contract with the customer and support the selection of suppliers for special productsYour tasks include the management of changes in scope of delivery and the active increase of revenue and project margin as well as the reduction of project risksYou will be responsible for regular project reporting to management and whenever you see improvement potential in your project or in the general project execution you share your knowledge with the team

　　You bring with you a combination of technical education in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and commercial trainingProject management certification is highly desiredYou have at least 5 years of experience in project managementYou are business fluent in English. German language knowledge is a plusTo be successful in this job you require excellent communication and organizational skillsIdeally, you have experience in SAP as well as product knowledge in GCB and/or GIS
