Project Manager, Business Solutions

　　Summary

　　The projects the Project Manager will lead may include enterprise-wide initiatives impacting multiple business units with global scope, as well as specific business technical projects related to Simplot’s Global Food businesses. They must have a background in waterfall and agile methodologies, and experience with industry standard project management tools.

　　Key Responsibilities

　　Provides project leadership on medium-sized projects, with cross-functional teams of internal as well as external resources.

　　Utilizes Simplot standard project management processes and tools to deliver projects that achieve the intended business objectives within the approved scope, schedule, budget, and resource constraints.

　　Implements processes and procedures for project and/or program planning.

　　Facilitates the identification and prioritization of corresponding work activities and develops a supporting resource plan.

　　Facilitates baselining the project plan and manages on-going change requests.

　　Provides status reporting and updated forecasts, as needed, including schedule, budget, and resources.

　　Manages project stakeholders, which may include executive business leadership.

　　Perform Agile ceremonies to include sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

　　Partner with the Product Owners and Project Managers on backlog management and planning of work.

　　May provide mentoring and guidance to less experienced employees.

　　Identifies process improvement opportunities and supports continuous improvement.

　　Typical Education

　　Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

　　Relevant Experience

　　5+ years related experience and/or training.

　　Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of key operational policies, processes, and methodologies applicable to project management.

　　Aware of industry standard project management techniques and when they should be used.

　　Experience of multiple complete projects.

　　Understanding of Agile principles and Scrum methodology.

　　Understanding of/hands-on experience with software development life cycle.

　　Ability to concurrently manage multiple backlogs with various moving parts.

　　Good leadership and influencing skills.

　　Good verbal and written communication skills.

　　Strong ability to effectively lead a team.

　　Required Certifications

　　Completion of a PMP certification is preferred

　　Certified Scrum Master or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP certification) is preferred
