  Job Description:

  Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

  Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, engineering, and/or program management. 1 year with master's degree. High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, engineering and/or project management in lieu of degree.Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities as evidenced by prior experience leading a team or project in a production environment.Strong communications skills, both verbal and written, interpersonal skills and good problem-solving mindset.Ability to develop solutions to complex problems requiring the use of ingenuity, creativity, and participation of internal and/or external personnel & teams.Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.Ability to provide roll-up status of manufacturing activities to program management as input for the overall program.Ability to collaborate in a team environment.Ability to status an accurate Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to ensure alignment with project master schedule.Ability to get and to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Management, Business Administration, Communications, or another related field.Experience in Risk and Opportunity management.Experience with basis of estimates, proposal generation, and EAC development.Experience in Earned Value Management System (EVMS) techniques, which includes program cost and schedule management.Salary Range: $68,800 - $103,200

  The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

  Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
