Job Description

　　Insight Global is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor for one of their Environmental Engineering Consulting clients. Matrix New World solves environmental challenges through expert engineering and science for national strategic issues. This individual will be joining the Land Development team and will be primarily focused on surveying projects, route surveys, bound surveys, and researching deeds. The individual will be involved in surveying with field staff & office staff, as well as reviewing, drawing, and creating work orders for the field crew. They will receive daily direction from their management team on what tasks need to be completed for their ongoing projects.

　　Other Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

　　Managing survey projects and field crews and communicating with clients

　　Managing field procedures and operations

　　QA/QC and supervising the preparation of surveying documents

　　Preparing Boundary and Topographic Surveys

　　Preparing projects for Construction Layout

　　Preparing ALTA Surveys

　　Office Processing of field work

　　Staff training

　　Overseeing multiple survey crews and office staff

　　Preparing and managing construction layout calculations for field staff

　　Responsible for all aspects of surveying practice, including client development and preparation of proposals

　　Performing project research and setup

　　Skills and Requirements

　　Bachelors Degree or Equivalent

　　Professional Land Surveyor registered in NJ. PA and/or NY registration a plus

　　5+ years of experience is preferred, with a working knowledge of survey equipment operation, including GPS, robotic stations and scanning technologies

　　Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record

　　Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D

　　Competent in reading civil drawings, including complex details, and successfully interpret for construction layout

　　Proficient in operating Trimble GPS/VRS and Robotic Total Stations

　　Reliable, dependable, and responsible

　　Able to communicate well with clients, accommodate client work requests and create work orders

　　Able to work independently with little instruction

　　An independent worker and ability to work within a diversified project team of professionals null
