Responsibilities:
Operate all manufacturing equipment efficiently and safelySafely operate the machine to properly produce product and followproper procedures for packaging to external customersRemove or shift materials and/or finished products to facilitateproper flowDemonstrates ability to meet production standards on specificassignments within required timeMaintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned spaceResponsible for safety and quality throughout productionClean equipment and area before, during, and after shiftMaintain clean work area through good housekeeping practicesFollow proper sorting and restacking instructions given by thequality departmentAssist in changeovers when called up by supervisor or front-endoperatorsPerforms other duties as required by Supervisor or ManagerRequirements:
High School diploma or equivalentExperience working in a Manufacturing EnvironmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentUnderstand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safetytrainingMust be able to understand verbal and written instructionsTroubleshoot problems and report issuesMust work well in a team environmentPhysical Requirements:
Plant facility runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week consistently,excluding designated holidays or prearranged shut down.Line production is constant flow approximately 35 to 39 drums anhour.Ability to be on feet consistently 8 hours up to a 12 hours perscheduled shiftWalking during this standing time in work cell, continuous rotationbetween mold machine, tester machine, cutter machine and grindermachine.Repetitive turning twisting during the leak testing steps ofproduction.Reaching above shoulders, hand and wrist repetitive simple graspingto pick up drum, flip drum to put it on the cutter machine, and drumlid assembly.Usage of lid assembly closure bar and cutting knife to complete drummanufacturing process.Shifts can be scheduled 5 days consecutive Monday to Friday oralternating 2-week rotation any of the production working days.Use of hands and fingers to perform job functionAbility to stoop, kneel, bend and climb, minimal, only as needed.Ability to lift as needed up to 35lbs during scheduled shiftAbility to lift consistently up to 20lbs for full shift to move drumthrough and complete manufacturing process.The work environment is inside, however not temperature controlled.Exposed to both heat and cold depending on the daily weatherconditions outside, and plastic mold machine station working at.ABOUT US
