This position also performs a variety of production tasks including research, guest logistics, location scouting, field producing, writing scripts, obtaining agreements and releases, scheduling, and supporting talent. Please note this is a fixed-term position (30+ hours per week) funded through June 2024.Responsibilities include: * Assisting Executive Producer and Senior Producer in all aspects of production including research, development, booking and scheduling interviewees, production and post-production; * Researching relevant topics, cultures and foods to be included in a segment or program; * Assisting with set-up and logistics for production; * Providing support for guest bookings, location agreements, appearance and materials releases; * Assisting with administrative tasks including but not limited to program descriptions, distribution of show materials to internal departments and external organizations; billing and invoices, and travel arrangements; * Sourcing, gathering and clearing archival materials; * Assisting in the preparation of clips and other elements for use online and on social media taken from interviews featured on the program; * Liaising between the field crew and the post production team; * Additional duties, as assigned.Qualified candidates will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a strong ability to plan, organize, and problem solve.
