Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for synchronization of a supply chain for obtaining goods and services for the company. Interfacing with internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure quality parts are delivered, to the right place, at the right time.
Works closely with shipping & receiving to coordinate deliver schedules.
Works closely with the receiving team to make sure receivables are delivered in an efficient manner.
Performs part or all the following
Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing supplier-related activities and authority to commit company resources through contracts, agreements, and purchase orders.
Develops requests for quotations and proposals, analyzes supplier responses, negotiates and awards contracts, and manages post award supplier activities.
Interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers.
Manages inventory levels, purchase orders, and supplier performance.
Monitors customer inventory demand and material assets to optimize total supply chain planning. Incorporates planning decisions from customers and suppliers to reduce material and product variability and arrive at optimal solutions.
Serves as Supply Chain representative for the Integrated Product Team
Coordinates engineering changes
Helps manage implementation of new programs for Supply Chain
Qualifications
Requirements:
9-10 years’ related work experience or 6+ years’ related work experience plus a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain or other relevant course of study.
Experience with inventory management.
Ability to effect change.
Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
6+ years’ Supply Chain experience preferred.
Knowledge with Pentagon system is highly preferred.
Master’s degree preferred.
Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industries preferred.
Knowledge of MRP Systems, SAP preferred.
Excellent Data analysis skills a plus.
