The position
As a System Analyst in the ‘IT M&S Web Product’ team, you will work as part of a global company. You will work in a team of IT Professionals and also directly with international business teams and you will contribute to deliver stable systems and interfaces that add business value for Boehringer. Utilizing your passion for technology, you will help to support and design the technical solutions supporting business functions in the area of Web Omnichannel.
Tasks and responsabilities
Responsible for planning, design, implementation, administration, and support of computer systems in line with capability strategy.
Lead solution development in line with the solution design and architectural and security standards.
Execute the role of System Lead and Interface/API Owner, including the creation and maintenance of documentation (including knowledge articles) related to the system, training, and compliance-related documents.
Working in a Dev/Ops manner as an SME to meet with business and IT stakeholders to consult, define, assess, and deliver on demands (new functionality and system enhancements).
As a System Lead and Subject Matter Expert, you will be responsible for change control, good documentation, and validation of computer systems.
Manages user-access management & related training requirements, periodic licensing review, and system maintenance.
Leverage advanced technical knowledge (AWS, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS solutions, SQL) to run, maintain, and improve applications.
Perform technical and process SME tasks including identifying system improvement related to daily operations, executing data analyst activities, and executing testing tasks.
Support assigned systems and applications including troubleshooting and resolution of issues (e.g. provide level 2 /3 support for tickets, problems, and issues related to assigned system). This includes support and resolution of complex technical topics, in particular topics related to AWS environment and integration of the platform with other systems.
Assess, troubleshoot, document, upgrade and develop maintenance procedures.
Collaborate with vendors to evolve the Web Platform and deliver business solutions aligned with internal policies.
Collaborate with the CISOC to maintain a secure platform, remediate vulnerabilities and deal with security incidents.
Requirements
Ability to engage with and facilitate discussions across multiple IT and business stakeholders to gather, assess, and implement requirements.
Ability to work in a BisDevSecOps/Product centric environment.
Experience in a system support role and with managing system incidents/tickets in IT service management systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence).
Demonstrates accountability and ownership.
Ability to collaborate and work within the core team as well as cross-functionally.
Demonstrates stakeholder and vendor management skills.
Excellent focus on customer service and user experience.
Fluent English.

5+ years experience in IT projects working in roles of System/Business Analyst and System SME
Experience with Dev/Ops, SCRUM and Agile project methods and roles
Experience working with, supporting, and acting as an SME for SaaS solutions.
Experience working with business teams and translating business requirements into technical design
