At a high level this means identifying the intersection of customer problems/unmet needs (an opportunity), technical feasibility, business goals, securing funding, and leading a cross-functional team as well as key stakeholders to deliver against the opportunity.Principal Product Manager is a versatile person demonstrating deep customer emotional intelligence, critical thinking, project management, commercial, analytical, and leadership prowess to successfully deliver delightful and differentiated products that drive growth and positively impact customers lives.Job Responsibilities:Owns product end to end for sophisticated or cross-platform solutions for products of the highest level of complexity and scope, or family of products. This includes crafting, managing, maintaining, and communicating product vision, strategy, positioning and roadmap as well as technical requirements and pricing.Partners with sales, internal/external stakeholders and Leadership to understand current business drivers, identifies areas of opportunity.Anticipates industry trends and conducts analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to identify product innovation opportunities, and assess opportunity size and impact.Determines product pricing by applying market research data, understanding development, operation and sales costs, anticipating volume and gets buy-in from finance and product leadership.Conducts cost-benefit / ROI / NPV analysis, driven product analysis, to support decision making.Works with stakeholders and follows enterprise process to secure and maintain product funding.Communicates, influences, and sells ideas at SVP/EVP/C-Level and below. This includes regularly delivering product presentations.Leads discussions with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.Uses customer insights for product vision, strategy, roadmap, priorities.Build, lead, cultivate an active VOC feed for themselves and team.Translates product/platform strategy by writing detailed features and user stories consumable for Dev teams for the highest level complexity products with multiple transactions and touchpoints across many teams. This work may include creation of prototypes.Owns and leads product backlog and priorities with our business and technology partners.Scopes and ensures alignment on the prioritization of activities based on business and customer impact.Collaborates with stakeholders and Dev / Execution teams to create and communicate anticipated release schedule.Generates and maintains dashboards and reports that track product health and success metrics.Conduct Product Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR's) and Steering meetings.Runs beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples.Collaborates with product marketing, marcom and public relations to promote product.
