Ibotta is seeking a Pricing Analystto join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding.
The Pricing Analyst will be a key contributor to establishing data-driven, profitable, and sustainable long term pricing structures and strategies. The ideal candidate will have expert level analytical capabilities as well as strong business acumen, and have the ability to identify and leverage competitive, capacity, client and product inputs into developing successful pricing approaches that balance growth and profitability.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office, (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.
What you will be doing:
Analyze data to support the development, and implementation of pricing strategies to maximize profit and propel growthAnalyze competitor pricing matched with market expectations to determine the ideal target price for products of the businessIdentify performance trends and provide recommendations for improvementDevelop a system of communication, documentation and review of internal and external comparative pricing dataConduct competitive analysis of product offerings and consult business leaders on competitive opportunities for Ibotta's productsPerform margin and pricing analysis to support business initiativesValidate sales estimates for accuracy and profitabilityIdentifies opportunities to optimize cross selling of servicesSupport the Deals Desk with real-time deal review, pricing analysis, reporting, and modelingAssist with analysis and negotiations for procurementEmbrace and uphold Ibotta's Core Values: Integrity, Boldness, Ownership, Teamwork, Transparency & Advocate for Savers
What we are looking for:
3+ years experience working as a data analystExperience in Performance Marketing, CPG, Retail, or a related industry experience is a plusBachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Data Science or Economics preferredKnowledge about the industry including competitors and market trendsExcellent analytical and research skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsGood negotiation and problem-solving skillsEffective reporting and presentation skillsComfortable working through ambiguity and imperfect dataSkilled in Pricing modeling and analysis, market analysis, and business analysisTechnical skills: Analytical thinking and Advanced Microsoft Suite Products skillsSQL and/or Python experience a plusExperience working with Salesforce.com preferred

Denver office perks include paid parking, bagel Thursdays, snacks and occasional meals.Base compensation range: $75,000-90,000. Equity is included in overall compensation package.
