Organization Overview AdLib, Inc. is a non-profit that focuses onempowering people with disabilities to access and manage benefits,services, and resources to live independently in the community. We are aconsumer controlled, consumer directed service that assists people withdisabilities to achieve a greater level of independence. As a Center forIndependent Living we provide the five core services: information andreferral, skills training, advocacy (systemic and individual), peercounseling, and transition (from nursing home to community and youth toadulthood). In addition to the core independent living services weoperate the MassHealth (Medicaid) funded personal care managementprogram, SSA Representative Payee program, MRC vocational rehabilitationservices, and long term care options counseling. Office includesshared work spaces. PCA Staff Nurse The PCA Staff Nurse positionprovides clinical supervision of AdLib\'s Personal Care Attendant (PCA)program caseload. In this capacity, the Staff Nurse will oversee andreview evaluations and re-evaluations performed by a team of contractedRegistered Nurses and Occupational Therapists. The Staff Nurse willserve as the clinical contact for AdLib\'s PCA program and will respondto inquiries from MassHealth regarding prior authorization requests forconsumers of the program. The Staff Nurse may also serve as a per diemNurse Evaluator. Must be licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusettsas a Registered Nurse. Must have good people skills and be able to dealprofessionally with consumers, human service workers, and other businessand professional people. Community nursing and supervisory experiencepreferred. Essential Functions: Coordination and assignment of nursecaseloads; review of evaluations and re-evaluations; determination ofprogram eligibility; understand and be able to explain MassHealthprogram rules and regulations; entering required documentation correctlyand timely in both electronic and written formats; assist consumers,nurses, and staff in problem solving. This position is part-time (25hours) and 75% of work takes place in the Pittsfield office or in thecommunity. This position requires travel with personal vehicle, homevisits (ascending/descending stairs), electronic and writtendocumentation, and ability to understand MassHealth rules andregulations. Primary working hours are negotiable but must take placeduring AdLib business hours 9am-5pm M-F.
