　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　Answering up to 60-80 phone calls a day Obtain accurate and updated patient information, such as name, address, insurance information Perform insurance verification on the date of service File and maintain medical records such as scanning and updating into patient charts/records Confirms and schedule appointments Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously Collects co-pays or outstanding balances on the date of service Perform referral documentation promptly Performs other duties as assigned

　　High School Diploma/GED (or higher) 1+ year of medical office or healthcare experience including data entry Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft applications

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Prior experience with EMR computer applications Working knowledge of medical terminology Working knowledge of general office procedures
