Responsibilities:
Operate iPad/Square POS to process cash and credit sales.
Stocking and restocking maintain cleanliness for bar and kitchen service.
Daily cleaning duties.
Clean up after closing including sweeping/trash/dishes and restocking bar.
Greet guests and take beverage orders from the servers or directly from guests.
Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
Follow all cash handling procedures.
Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts.
Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for serving beverages and serving guests and prepare inventory.
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products and menus.
Cooking and preparing food items.
Requirements :
High School Diploma / (GED) preferred
TIPS Certified/Food Handler Certified or ability to obtain upon start
Prior experience working as a bartender, 1+ years
Working knowledge of wine, beer, spirits and tending bar, with the ability to learn and follow recipes
A warm and outgoing personality with a passion for food, wine, spirits and customer service
Must have a commitment to deliver a unique and memorable guest experience
Excellent people skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
The ability to multi-task and work well in a high volume environment
Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
Fluent in English and proficiency in other languages is a plus
Ability to work evenings and weekends
