Summary:
Paints primer and / or topcoats in accordance to customer requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Paints primer and / or topcoats to parts
Completes appropriate documentation for material traceability.
Reads and understands work order instructions.
Offers ideas and makes suggestions to improve.
Promotes a positive team environment.
Performs 5-S requirements for work area.
Communicates effectively with co-workers and supervision.
Observes and follows safety procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Six (6) months to two years related experience or the demonstrated proven ability to meet essential duties and responsibilities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Skill and ability to use computer in order to clock in and out of and track work orders / jobs.
Hand skills and abilities.
Knowledge, skill and ability to apply primers and topcoats using a pneumatic paint sprayer.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Skill and ability to use pneumatic hand tools.
Ability to work within a team environment.
Ability to work safely around power equipment.
Ability and willingness to learn.
Conditions of Employment:
Eligible to work in the United States.
Pass a Post Offer Drug Screen
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
Continuous standing.
Continuously exposed to chemicals.
Occasionally lift up to 40lbs. Objects weighing over 40lbs employee must seek assistance.
Frequently exposed to heat during summer months.
Other Special Requirements:
Willing to work overtime, holidays and or weekends as required by supervision.
