About Operations Process Consultant

  Description

  Provides advanced support for assigned business process and/or system within a business unit which includes the following: - Maintains, monitors, updates assigned business process and/or system - Researches complex problems and acts independently to resolve - Analyzes existing business process and or systems and determines technical or procedural improvements and implements changes - Develops and provides documentation for users and training purposes Develops operational procedures for products, services and systems supported. Designs processes to meet regulatory requirements. Develops and generates specialized and ad hoc reports. Analyzes reports and makes recommendations for improvements in processes and /or systems. This role s upports Global Trade Services operational team servicing Commercial/and Standby Letters of Credit, Import/Export Collections and Supply Chain Financing. Provides technical support to business unit, customers, management and other users. Acts as liaison between software vendors and process/system users or between users and other corporate areas. May serve as lead analyst in training or projects.

  Operations Process Consultant organize and lead internal project meetings; provide timely updates to impacted business segments and internal partners. They continuously prioritize various day-to-day job duties and make timely and accurate decisions to maintain project scope and schedules.

  Coordinate and monitor the work of internal partners and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery and maximum benefit for HNB

  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities.

  Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently.

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  Provide timely internal reporting as required.

  Duties and Responsibilities:

  Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement using data analytics, as well as customer/colleague feedback and pain points.

  Understand complex processes and systems in-depth for those transactions/experiences for which you are responsible.

  Define EPIC and MVPs for a given initiative.

  Understand how the features map to delivering business objectives and key results (OKR’s).

  Lead in feature definition and acceptance criteria.

  Work with agile teams to iterate and build; focus on prioritizing the business value from different pieces of the work.

  Work with external vendors when appropriate.

  Partner with implementation teams to roll out initiatives flawlessly for customers and colleagues.

  Measure performance against expectations; revisit analysis and strategy to modify approach when a variance is recognized.

  Perform other duties and assigned.

  Forward-thinking and able to extrapolate learnings and industry trends to build a roadmap for the future

  Ability to translate business needs to technology teams

  Self-starter who develops plans and is committed to hitting delivery dates

  Strong analytical skills

  Must have excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor

  Ability to develop working relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization

  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  This is a hybrid role. Must be near 7 Easton Oval Columbus, Ohio.

  Basic Qualifications

  High school diploma or equivalent

  5 or more years of analytics experience

  Experience developing documentation for training and/or operational procedures

  Report writing

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Bachelors Degree

  Working in a fast pace environment

  Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  Translating business data needs into technical language and partnering with IT teams to ensure effective solution delivery

  Project Management Implementation

  Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
