Position: Office Administrator
Duties: This position performs a wide variety of high-level administrativeduties necessary to the successful operation of the Sheriff s Office usingoffice equipment and computer software to manage databases, createspreadsheets, and prepare presentations, reports and documents. Assiststhe Sheriff and Undersheriff with monitoring of the annual budget. Thisconsists of inputting financial data into a spreadsheet and preparing reports.Reviewing and reporting on invoices. Reviewing and reporting on expendituresand accounts payable. Works with other county employees in the financialadministration, preparation and timely submission of grant applications andreports, development and adjustment of associated budgets, coordination ofbudgeted funds, screening and processing requests for expenditures andensuring the timely application for reimbursement. Serve as a liaison withprincipals and other departments on issues regarding grants. Monitors andprovides grant information to divisions within the Sheriff s Office and theFinancial Management Office of the County.
Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree; or one(1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; orequivalent combination of education and experience.Valid Colorado driver's license required. Minimum age is twenty-one (21).First Aid/CPR and Arrest Control certifications are taught by the FCSO andmust be maintained throughout employment.
Other Requirements: BA degree in Criminal Justice or related field; or 3-4years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.Valid and current Colorado Driver s License.
Wage: $23.84-$32.07 per hour. Paid every 2 weeks.
Shift: Full time, 40 hours per week, must be able work Shifts,holidays and weekends.
