About New Product Introduction / Project Manager (Hybrid)

  Our New Product Introduction Lead supports portfolio leaders, commercial teams, and product managers with New Product Introduction best practices and action plans, ensuring that appropriate financial metrics are established and achieved for all Gilbarco Veeder-Root Fueling Solutions’ new products. This global role will require partnering with team members across multiple time zones which will require early morning/late evening meetings. Position typically travels 25% domestically and internationally to various factories, customers and product stakeholders.

  WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  Partner with business unit R&D and product management teams on new product timelines, business cases, and product launches

  Partner with regional sales and marketing/branding teams to ensure the right marketing collateral is understood, accessible and used to drive customer awareness and funnel

  Build, continuously improve, and deploy standard work for new product commercialization globally

  Work with PMO to integrate commercialization best practices into PMO Standard Work

  Ensure excellence in global new product commercialization and transparency on launch timing across product categories and regions

  Perform data analysis to understand new product performance for Fueling Solutions,

  Perform Win-Loss Analysis on new product launches and provide insights to global product managers

  Manage both Veeder-Root and Gilbarco Cooperative Marketing programs to enable our key customers with additional business development resources

  Report on commercialization wins, losses, opportunities, and roadblocks at a strategic level, problem solving with regional sales and product ownership against misses

  Own countermeasure development and enforcement for systemic new product development issues that arrive in problem solving

  Work directly with finance, sales, and global product teams to develop and validate new product financial targets for new calendar years

  Act as commercial touchpoint and interface between global organization and regional teams, addressing business case development, orders issue management, special price requests, and key international distributor relationships

  ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE

  2+ years product development, technical product support, or R&D engineering experience required, preferably with retail petroleum equipment focus

  Experience creating processes to launch new products to enable commercializing products in global regions

  2+ years Previous project management / entry level product management experience a plus

  Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

  In-depth understanding of business systems and data analysis

  Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to think outside the box to enable and accelerate future growth

  Results oriented

  Proficient in process improvement tools and techniques

  Bachelor’s degree in technology, business or marketing field preferred
