Job Description

　　We are looking for a strong Firewall Engineer who has a background in production support and operations background supporting network and security devices. This is a BAU/ operations role and will require individuals who have served in this capacity and also can work flexible hours. A lot of the work that needs to be done happens at night or off hours. The role does not require OT or more than 40 hours but does require flexibility. He or she plans and implements enterprise networks and related hardware and software. Designs and documents network architecture. Performs assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps. Establishes security (firewalls, intrusion detection), connectivity and access parameters. Provides recommendations to optimize network infrastructure. Tests and tunes security devices and systems. Programs routers and switches. Implements communications technologies (data or voice). Manages network services from planning phase through implementation. Solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware and software, security technologies and network infrastructure is required.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　Bilingual in English/Spanish (strong verbal & written communication)

　　5 years of experience with the below technologies

　　Firewall (Check Point or Cisco, preferably Checkpoint)

　　IPS (Check Point)

　　Cisco + Check Point Client & Site to Site VPN configuration and maintenance

　　Check Point Provider-1/ MDM Experience (Upgrading, Troubleshooting & Maintenance)

　　Check Point VSX + Cluster XL Experience (Upgrading, Troubleshooting & Maintenance

　　Strong operations and support experience

　　Ability to work flexible hours (sometimes off hours or overnight) - Check Point Certifications (CCSA or CCSE)

　　ITIL Foundations null
