Our strategy includes building teams across our global network to pioneer and shape the future of PCI.The Network Engineer III ensures the stability and integrity of the voice, data, and wireless networks. This is achieved by engineering, implementing, and supporting reliable, fault tolerant local (LAN), wide area (WAN) and wireless networks across global PCI locations. This individual will successfully manage network implementation and improvement projects.This seasoned professional will also provide mentorship and training through technical leadership to junior team members.
Duties:Assess long-term and short-term network capacity needs and develop strategies for highly available networks.Routinely research products, services, and standards to remain abreast of current developments in the network industry and recommend new technologies as a result.Design, install and support layer 2 and layer 3 LAN (Switch) technologies including network segmentation utilizing VLANS.Engineer, install and support current and new layer 3 WAN (Router) technologies by utilizing DIA, SDWAN, MPLS, Site to Site VPNs and Point to Point connections.Advanced troubleshooting of issues with routing of OSPF, BGP and EIGRP routing protocols.Support VPN client and site to site connectionsArchitect, install and maintain security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS and Cisco ISE.Proactive vulnerability management including routine patching and hardening of systems following cyber security guidelines.Implement new and utilize current monitoring tools including ArmorPoint, Nessus, SolarWinds, Wireshark, Syslog and Firepower Management to proactively keep our networks safe, reliable and fault tolerant.Design, implement, secure and support wireless controllers and access points.Architect, deploy and troubleshot issues with Voice (VoIP) and Video Technologies including MS Teams, 8x8 and Avaya solutions.Engineer, implement and resolve issues with AWS and Azure networking.Author, review and enforce documentation/SOPs relating to network configuration, network topologies, processes, and service maintenance records.Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs and training for network administration, usage, security, and disaster recovery.Lead the design, implementation, and support of highly reliably/fault tolerant networks.Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers and contractors to secure network products and services.Manage an accurate list of network assets including maintenance of inventory and related documentation and technical specification information.Participate in managing network security solutions including Cisco ISE.Available for after-hours support when required.
Qualifications:10 + years' experience engineering, installing, and maintaining LAN/WAN, Wireless systems.10 + years' experience engineering, installing, and supporting Firewalls and network load balancers.5 + years' experience of technical network team leadership.5 + years' experience of leading IT network projects.Demonstrated professional leading technical team and engineering network solutions.Advanced understanding of TCP/IPAdvanced DNS, DHCP, Routing protocolsLinux (preferred)
Certifications (preferred)Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCIEAWS CertificationNetwork +
