We have operated in Colorado for more than 100years and today have mining and milling operations near Leadville, Kremmlingand Empire. Our Climax mine is located between Frisco and Leadville. OurHenderson mine and mill are an hour's drive apart - separated by theContinental Divide and a 15-mile conveyor system (10 miles isunderground). The Henderson mine is about 50 miles west of Denver and 10miles west of Empire, and the mill is located between Dillon and Kremmling.
DescriptionUnder general supervision safely maintain, install, repair andtroubleshoot multiple types of electrical systems and equipment in support ofa Mill/Processing site.
Removal, repair and installation of electrical systems and componentswithinthe following areas and systems: mill (primary/regrind), leacharea, packing area, boiler room, reagent area, acid house, generalmill, conveyor equipment, air, water and power line systemsPerform equipment electrical analysis and diagnosis, advancedtroubleshooting and systems/process optimizationWork on switch gear and distribution including grounding, LOTOTOprocedures, and use of jumper formsPerform preventative maintenance including checking motors, checking forground loops, metering electrical circuits, calibrating equipment andcompleting additional checksReview, revise and create SOP'sPerform GRC conduit bending and fastening: conduit, cable tray,grounds, boxes, and calculating loads and feeder sizesTrain and mentor other Electrical department employees on:*Proper testing of PPE*Proper audit of Mill site*Preventative maintenance (either electrical or instrumentation)*Product flow and priorities*New electrical installation*Print readingAct as Fill-in Supervisor as neededMay be required to use the following mobile equipment: forklifts, lightduty vehicles, bucket trucks, high-lift trucksPerform other duties as requiredMinimum Qualifications include but are not limited to:
Completion of an approved Certified Electronics, Electrical and/orInstrumentation program, ORMinimum of four (4) years of experience in Industrial Electrical and/orInstrumentation repair and maintenance, ORAssociate's degree or Trade School Certification in a related field and two(2) years of experience in Industrial Electrical and/or Instrumentationrepair and maintenanceKnowledge of AutoCAD drawings/prints, and electronic printsKnowledge of proper SOP'sPreferred Qualifications:
High School diploma or GEDExperience with VFDs, PLC, HMI, and/or SCADA Control SystemsExperience working with low and medium voltagesExperience with AC and/or DC controlsExperience with instrumentation devicesExperience with diagnostic electrical test equipmentExperience with HVAC equipmentBENEFITS:Housing Stipend (Up to $450 per month)Relocation assistance401k with company matchMedical/Dental/Vision (Start on day 1 of employment)Pay range: $30.00 - $41.00 per hour
