　　work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM

　　Responsibilities

　　Responsible to meet department productivity and quality goals.  Must be able to operate a MIG welding machine proficiently.  Ability to operate typical hand tools especially angle grinder.  Produce clean welds.  Test output to ensure strength and tolerance of welds.  Be up to date on current welding procedures and techniques.  Communicate with Supervisors and Managers.  Maintain a clean and safe work space.  Responsible for quality control within Department of responsibility.  Operate within standard Work Instructions, BOMs and Drawings.  Performs preventative maintenance on equipment within Department and notifies Management of needed repairs to assign necessary resources to problem.  Verify conformance of product to specifications as outlined in Work Instructions, BOMs and Drawings. Maintain supply of appropriate work tools.

　　The essential functions of this role include:

　　working in a smoke free environment

　　wearing steel toe shoes

　　working in a non-temperature controlled environment

　　manual lifting up to 50lbs

　　standing for 8 hours at one time

　　working up to 3 hrs of overtime per week

　　Skills

　　MIG welding (5 years of experience is preferred)

　　Weld stainless steel (5 years of experience is preferred)

　　Weld Aluminum (1 year of experience is preferred)

　　Hoist crane operation (5 years of experience is preferred)

　　Blueprints

　　meaasurements (5 years of experience is preferred)
