JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Duties: Moves levers and presses pedals to drivetruck and control movement of lifting apparatus Positions forks, liftingplatform, or other lifting device under, over or around loaded pallets,skids, boxes, products or materials or hooks tow trucks to trailerhitch, and transports loads to designated area Loads and/or unloads andstacks material by raising and lowering lifting device Loads or unloadsmaterials onto or off of pallets, skids or lifting device Lubricatestruck, recharges batteries, fills fuel tank, or replaces liquefied gastank Uses the computer to identify and locate product Uses RF equipmentto scan labels and read instructions Weighs materials or products andrecords weight on tags, labels Handles shipping and receiving paperworkof incoming and outgoing trucks Inventories materials on work floor, andsupply workers with materials as needed Operates baler to bale cardboardwaste for transport Performs shipping and receiving duties, cyclecounts, and location checks per standard operating procedure Determineswork procedures and expedites workflow Adjusts errors and complaintswith the assistance of the Shift Lead Performs Spotter duties asrequired (does not apply to every driver): o Moves trailers in parkinglot using the shuttle truck directed by portable radio o Shuttlestrailers to other nearby locations o Organizes shuttle lot Demonstratesand promotes the Company Values Education and Experience: High schooldiploma or general education degree (GED); or one year of relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education andexperience. Clamp experience required.
