Description:
Responsibilities:
• Support PCBA test/debug at Kuiper Redmond.
o Program and execute functional testing of PCBAs.
o Diagnose nonconformances identified during testing of PCBAs.
o Document nonconformances/defects for communication back to PCBA manufacturing team and CM.
o Coordinate PCBA rework to repair defects.
• Deploy functional testing and PCBA debug at the CM.
o Spend up to 30% of time traveling.
o Support electrical debug of PCBAs at the CM.
o Train staff at CM on programming, testing, and electrical debug of PCBAs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience with debugging PCBA designs that include microprocessors, FPGAs, power supplies, and/or sensors.
• Experience with circuit-level debug to the component level.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience delivering test solutions to manufacturing facilities.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing manufacturing test strategies for electrical subassemblies.
• IPC-A-610 certification or familiarity.
• Experience testing, troubleshooting, and debugging RF electronics.
• Programming experience in Python, C#, C++, or MATLAB.
• Experience writing software to control test equipment and devices under test (DUTs) using standard software tools.
• Experience designing PCBAs of medium-to-high complexity.
