*Manufacturing Engineer for Dayton, OH *
Will review customer requirements and design.Modify and implement process improvement opportunities & develop and update plant layouts, manufacturing processes, and work instructions.Will compile cost estimates, Identify and drive lean continuous improvement activities, create, read blueprints, process drawings, and work instructions.Will review and establish the most efficient processes to manufacture sheet-metal products, research and resolve issues during manufacturing.Will coordinate with all departments to produce quality parts and high performance in problem solving and innovation.Will maintain a safe work environment through good housekeeping practices and all other duties as assigned by management using CAD software applications (SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD).Will be involved in Problem analysis with root cause and corrective/preventive action techniques and project management and cost-effective implementation.Will Process workflow and line balancing in a multi-process manufacturing environment and product launch activities including APQP, PPAP, and new process development using financial analysis skills for product cost estimating and development of manufacturing costs using PPAP, PFD, PSW, PQR, PDCA, Process Sheet, DOE, TQM, QMS, Kaizen, Kanban, Six Sigma, AutoCAD, Pareto Charts, JIT, PFMEA, ATQP, Fishbone, Root Cause Analysis, CATIA and Arena Simulation Software, etc.
