Ecommerce Test Analyst
The QA Analyst will be a member of a QA team supporting a Web Implementation project. This individual will support the QA Lead by executing test cases, raising defects, and provide test case creation and defect raising support to business partners participating in User Acceptance testing. The ideal candidate is an experienced QA Analyst who has testing experience in Order Management Systems, e-commerce websites, and transactional emails.
Responsibilities
Create, execute test cases and validation procedures established by the QA lead through each sprint cycle and production release
Raise, document, triage defects uncovered during the sprint for prioritization and mitigation
Regularly update the regression test suites following the regression approach led by the test lead
Plan, execute production test activities to validate the overall site and checkout flows immediately following a production release
Setup test inventory/data/order needs in development environments
Participate in requirement grooming
Contribute feedback and QA estimation sizing
Assist UAT Business Partner needs/testing during facilitation of final User Acceptance Testing
Report overall test prep and execution progress metrics/data to the QA Lead
Participate in activities led by the QA Lead to unlock dependencies and leverage shared test data, systems, services with projects occurring in parallel
Drive continuous learning and improvement from the testing perspective
Position Qualifications
4+ years holding a QA Analyst Role with a focus on ecommerce, user experience, website testing
Experience in OMS, Checkout, Transactional Emails, e-Commerce projects (preferably experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud)
Experienced facilitating/supporting UAT, integration, system testing, etc
Experienced in third-party applications including but not limited to Jira, Confluence, TestRail, or other test management tools (e.g. ALM, Quality Center, TFS, VSTS)
Experienced in setting up and executing test plans supporting integration testing, regression testing, system testing, user acceptance testing
Has expertise in mapping test cases to corresponding requirements and building out a requirement matrix
Experienced in third-party applications including but not limited to Jira, Confluence, TestRail, or other test management tools (e.g. ALM, Quality Center, TFS, VSTS)
Able to take and execute based on QA Lead feedback/guidance provided
Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience
Experienced in working with third party vendors and testing third party applications
Possesses a strong level of attention to detail
Experienced in supporting and contributing to test scope identification, test requirements management, test case development, test scheduling, and defect management activities
Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills with all cross-functional audiences
Excels at working in a project environment and on cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
Consistently delivers day-to-day assignments with a high level of quality and attention to detail
Independently develops key deliverables without supervisor oversight
