  This is a Network manager position with focus on leading a team, which handles all aspects of running the enterprise network; technical support for network issues, network monitoring and alerting, handling business requests

  What will you do?

  You will lead a full-time staff of SMEs and provide technology support for Solution Engineering and the NOC. This will include local and remote resources, including hiring, goal setting/reviews and performance management.

  We own and coordinate the overall global network portfolio for enhancements, while collaborating with other architecture and engineering colleagues as required.

  We deploy our network engineering resources to technology driven projects (automation, monitoring PoCs, etc.) to ensure compliance with standards, on-time and on-budget implementation.

  Coordination of the implementation of POCs together with our Architecture team will be part of your role.

  We enable our team to meet desired SLAs

  We promote and support global collaboration within IT

  You maintain the on-call and shift rotations

  You provide leadership for customer concerns and major incident resolution when required

  You manage our processes , workbooks and documentation for the diagnosis, resolution and root cause analysis & remediation of network issues.

  You will work with team members, vendors, and managed service providers on daily processes, projects, support and maintenance.

  You ensure that the necessary documentation is maintained for networks, systems and associated architecture.

  We adhere to standards and processes of ITIL workstreams including incident and change management

  You will coordinate network upgrades and maintenance activities with business, ITIL team and other key partners as required

  You participate in Problem Management activities to conduct root cause analysis and make recommendations on corrective actions.

  In collaboration with leadership, review for possible impact to network performance and provides necessary recommendations as required.

  We manage and support day-to-day user complaints , test and evaluation activities.

  You will perform network analyses to identify and correct deficiencies ; improving End-User experience .

  We test upgrades, patches, feature enhancements and changes for assurance prior to execution.

  How will you get here?

  Combined minimum of 3-5 years BA/BS education and/or work experience in leading a global network engineering or operations team.

  3 - 5 years of experience in managing global engineering resources and vendors.

  Advanced knowledge of Networking and Wireless working with past hands-on experience

  Knowledge of Load Balancer and Firewall with past hands-on experience is an advantage

  Excellent knowledge of IT general practices, ITIL and methods with specialized knowledge in multiple technical disciplines such as, cloud, telecommunications, network, automation, database and systems architecture.

  Understanding and experience of cloud computing specifically relating to networks is an advantage

  Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good customer service skills, and a demonstrable ability to work with various teams.

  Building high performance teams, globally.

  Ability to lead diverse team of individuals across geographical boundaries and different time zones.

  Must have strong analytical skills related to basic financial and contract analysis.

  Develop, plan, direct and control strategic short-term and long-term operational objectives

  Ability to anticipate, expose, and manage risks

  Develop relationships with our clients, engineering, and peer management teams, and effectively navigate across the organization

  Occasional international travel might be required (0-25%)
