Job Summary:

Conagra Brands in Darien, WI a local supplier of Birds Eye products, is seeking qualified individuals to fill entry level openings in the production department for 1st shift. Reporting to Maintenance Manager, you will work on-site at one of Conagra's largest manufacturing facilities with over 800 employees.

　　Eliminate all causes of failure and ensure full useful life with daily maintenance completed by operating personnel. Lead activities of workers engaged in repair, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment. Provide technical and support for the plant and maintenance crews. Support and accomplish plant specific maintenance strategies to achieve Plants main performance goals for overall maintenance performance. Assure production schedules are met and all issues are resolved and communicated. Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards. Review production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities. 3 years related experience.

　　Position Responsibilities

　　Plan and schedule work force for utilization of employees to meet our needs.

　　Train, motivate and direct employees to adhere to safe work methods and standard procedures.

　　Purchase of supplies and repair parts with regard to quality

　　You will assume full ownership of predictive and preventive maintenance activities including oil analysis, vibration analysis, engine-compressor analysis, and infrared thermography.

　　Involves all associates in a team concept, keeping personnel safety, food safety and uptime as the top priorities.

　　In Plant Hours 5am-2pm (24 hour responsibility)

　　Position Qualifications

　　High school diploma or GED equivalent required, Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Mechanical engineering or other technical degree program

　　3-5 years of previous maintenance experience

　　Previous supervisory experience required.

　　Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

　　Calculate figures.

　　Experience with Preventative Maintenance programs. Knowledge of Electronic and Electrical principals.

　　Physical Requirements

　　You are required to talk and hear. You will be required frequently to stand and walk. You are occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste and smell. You must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. You will be exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature.
