Description:
a company that provides steel products to OEM's and also smaller job shop companies. They specialize in providing pre-cut stock metal in the following categories: Plate, sheet, structural, tubing, bar stock and grating. as an organization owns 9 locations between WI and IL with four services centers (Wausau is one of these) and 4 steel processing locations.
Client is targeting a maintenance tech to assist with machine tear downs, preventative maintenance, and facilities maintenance work as needed. Experience building and taking apart machines is big portion of this role as well as preventative maintenance and staying on the maintenance schedule. This role will interact with one other maintenance employee. There are some pneumatic and hydraulic equipment that they will service as well as minor issues like changing out lights, facilities maintenance, etc..
There will be times when the team is caught up that they will need to assist with housekeeping, change out light bulbs, HVAC maintenance (filters, cleaning, etc..), shoveling snow, etc... For the most part all of the work will be indoors.
